Fabrics
OUR FIRST NON-RENUNCIABLE SUSTAINABLE
"When I see the fabric, I know what it's intended for. The fabric tells me."
Elisa, designer and co-founder of Elisa Muresan
The feel, weight, drape, and color of a fabric speak volumes. They tell me stories of women with different bodies, but one shared desire: to feel good and enjoy every moment to the fullest without distractions. And to do so on behalf of the planet.

So, as I think about where they'll be, what they'll be doing at each moment, and what they need to move freely, a new model begins to take shape in my head.
Eager to make it a reality, I take it straight to the pattern. By hand, as I've always done. The prototype allows us to be sure everything fits perfectly before moving on to scaling, cutting, and sewing.

Organic cotton, our favorite
Because it prevents allergies, dermatitis, and other health problems. Because it's soft to the touch and allows your skin to breathe. Because it's warm in winter and cool in summer. And because it reduces the use of natural resources and soil, air, and water pollution.
To be sure, we require GOTS certification, the most rigorous available today.
We also consider other materials such as Tencel, hemp, or linen if they meet our values.

GOTS organic cotton
