TENTH ANNIVERSARY ELISA MURESAN
Who were you in 2015?
You're not the same. You're more you.
10 years together, shedding our skin, without giving up who we are.
Discover everything that's happening these next few days and how to participate. We want to celebrate with you!
Because…
It's been ten years since we opened the store.
Ten years of many versions of me and each of you.
We are not the same, and that's the most beautiful thing.
Thank you for still being here, changing with me,
reminding me that fashion can be a real place.
That dressing well is also about taking care of yourself and taking care of what surrounds you.
Thank you to all women, real and constantly evolving, for being our driving force every day.
Elisa
Elisa, co-founder and designer of Elisa Muresan.

Our story, year by year
We open the door to our history to celebrate with you.
2015Zaragoza, we opened our first store with a vision:
Either we are sustainable and break the stereotypes of fast fashion, or we will not exist.
This was the starting point for everything that followed. Before that, in 2012, it had all begun almost as a hobby. Elisa would put together her own looks and outfits: for herself, for her family, or for a friend's shop.
It gradually took shape, and after a brief stint at a pop-up stand, we understood what we had to do to turn it into a fashion brand.

2016We moved the workshop from home to the back room.
Small, but ours: the first step towards independence.
Shortly after we started, we moved to the village house. There we had enough space to live and set up our small workshop, all in one place.
Then came 2016. We were progressing well, it was time to create a small workshop in the back room: a crucial decision since for a few years it was the most distinctive part of our brand.

2017We designed our first American jacket.
A garment that defined our style: simple, timeless, different.
The blazer marked a turning point. It was the first garment to earn the recognition of "our basic/classic." One of those iconic pieces from the brand that has been with us throughout these years.

2018We are launching the online store.
We reach more people without losing our identity.
We've always been clear about what it means to create truly sustainable fashion. And how difficult and scarce it was (and still is). In 2018, we realized that to have a real impact, we needed to reach more people with our small brand: the web was the way to do it.

2019Our first Zero Waste collection is born.
Nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
From the day we made our first prototype, back in 2014, we knew that the leftover scraps from cutting the pieces couldn't go to waste. We kept them, not really knowing what to do with them.
In 2019, when we no longer had room for any more boxes of scraps, the muses arrived and the first ZW collection was born:
An annual capsule collection where we create our most iconic designs using workshop surpluses. This makes each piece unique and unrepeatable.

2020You rescued us from Covid.
The greatest support in the most difficult time.
That year had started well, but when the news of the lockdown arrived, fears and doubts began to creep in. It was a very difficult time for everyone, both personally and professionally.
We closed the physical store to the public and even thought it was all over. However, in an attempt to keep going, we issued vouchers to pay the store's rent. The surprise came when we raised everything we had planned in just two hours.
We received many messages of encouragement and support, even from people we didn't know or who lived in other countries. Thanks to all those people who supported us, we were able to continue. A huge THANK YOU, we won't forget it 💚.

2021We rent our own premises for the workshop.
We're launching our first real cutting table .
We grew so much that we moved to a spaceship .
A year of change, expansion, and beautiful vertigo.
The year of Covid brought not only affection and love, but also changes. Everything started to go much better: sales grew and the workshop no longer fit in the store.
We moved to a shop and bought our first professional cutting table (a very old one that we bought from a super friendly gentleman. He had retired and had a tailoring workshop). After a few months, that new workshop, which we thought would be enough for several years, became too small. We moved again. This time to our first warehouse.

2022We're aiming for more professional photos.
Finally we can buy more meters of fabric .
Every decision, a step forward.
The team was growing; it wasn't just Miguel and me anymore. The photos we used to take in a rudimentary way were now taken by a professional photographer. Also, what used to be just buying a little bit of fabric now required careful consideration. More fabric meant a larger investment; we couldn't afford to make a mistake.
Imagine going from buying between 10 and 20 meters of fabric to 100 meters. This forced us to become even more professional. There was no longer any margin for error.

2023Online orders are growing and we're moving them from the store to the warehouse.
Our little chaos is starting to take shape.
Orders from the website grew so much that they became a problem. They no longer fit in the store. We were forced to set up a space in the warehouse for storage and shipping.

2024We traveled to Portugal in search of fabrics.
We moved to a bigger warehouse .
A studio is born just for me , a space to create in peace.
This year was tough. Everything became even more serious, every decision mattered. It was time to move again to a bigger warehouse, time to look for new fabrics, and time to finally have my own creative space (until then, any corner was good enough to lie down on the floor and start designing).

2025We launched our first collaborative sneaker collection.
We initiated a profound restructuring of the brand .
What began in our minds and hearts is now a project involving thousands. Women from many places, both within and outside of Spain, have joined together over the years. Women who seek a positive impact on the world, and on themselves, through fashion.
Here's to many more adventures together .
